Legion offers an exclusive training program that includes physical self-defense training in the form of Krav Maga, as well as defense against an active shooter, situational awareness, and combat first aid.

 

Legion was the first non-profit in the United-States dedicated to training Jews and Jewish allies to defend themselves. Outside of the IDF, we are the largest organized group of Jews in the world training in Krav Maga - our graduates number in the thousands.

We were founded in 2014 in response to rising violence - Jews comprise 1.8% of the U.S. population, but are the recipients of over 50% of of all religiously motivated attacks.​

 

We originated in New York City, and now offer training in NYC, Brooklyn NY, West Hartford CT, and have partner gyms across the United States and the world. Our gyms offer significant discounts to students in our programs because they believe in our mission.

 All potential trainees, no matter how experienced, go through the same process.
